FAQ 1 : Are Resources on this website Copyright?

Yes. The resources on this website are copyright of the author(s) who have written the article(s). The article would mention the name of the author(s). If any webpage does not mention the author, then Anup Mukherjee retains the copyright for that. Anup Mukherjee also retains the intellectual property rights of the website i3pep.org. FAQ 3 : I have come to this site from search engine like google etc, and your webpage looks strange (just like the image on left). Why?

As the site runs on Wordpress, it uses a plugin that highlights the search term when someone comes following links in some search engines, or searches using the website search facility. If the search phrase uses terms like “a", “an” etc, its quite possible you would have many words highlighted. The solution to this is just click on the title of the article again on the webpage that you are viewing, and you would get a clean page. (update!, dec 2005 The highlight colour has now been changed to a more user friendly light lemon yellow as can be seen in the image on right, which creates less distraction while reading than the pink colour.)

FAQ 4 : Can I write article for i3pep.org ?

Yes! If any site visitor is interested in contributing their writing to the resource area, they are welcome. Please go through the website philosophy - your article should conform to those values; and then email through the contact page detailing your article and a brief summary not exceeding 150 words.

FAQ 5 : I cannot comment on any post? Is there any method of feedback?

Due to issues related to spam etc, the facility for comments have been withdrawn. However, any comments / feedback / opinion on any article / post or otherwise can be sent directly to i3pep.org by eMail. This links also appears on the header (Contact) on every page. Your opinion and feedback is always welcome.

FAQ 6 : Is the i3pep.org website viewable in different browsers ?

site.jpg

This site should approximately look like the image on the left on a normal article page. Infact, the page should look even better, but different browsers have their own queerness. The image taken is from Safari browser. This image is of the site as on August 2005. The actual design may be improved or changed subsequently. However the designs undergo thorough check for viewability and cross browser compatibility.

This site has been tested for viewability and cross browser compatibility on various browsers like Internet Explorer 6.0, Netscape 7.1, Firefox 1.04, Firefox 1.06. etc. Apart from this, the website has also been tested through the browsershots.org facility for viewability on browsers like Epiphany 1.4.8, Galeon 1.3.20, Konqueror 3.3, Mozilla 1.7.8, Opera 7.54, and Safari 2.0. In all these browsers the website renders well and the display is as desired.

However, in older browsers like IE 5.0 etc. the website may look a bit shifted to the left. This does not in anyway affect the display or viewability. This is not the problem of this website, but a problem of such older browsers that does not display CSS properly. Apart from that there is absolutely no problem whether it be display or the content.

FAQ 7 : Can I copy the design of i3pep.org website ?

No. The design cannot be copied or redistibuted. Try to learn how to design using css, you will get more satisfaction in designing website yourself. There are many useful sites on internet having css tutorials - try Google search for that.
