The Past Gone

Article filed by Anup Mukherjee on Thu 30th Sep 2004. Print Version
Category: Misc   74 words   0:26 min. to read

Though many things we forget
With many cravings still left
With some favours kept
And nothing being in debt

If from the past gone, nothing is in gain
Then its our fault, as it never comes back again

The past has never turned its face
Though few things lasts with little grace
The experience got should never be lost
The values won for which we have fought

Every bit be learnt
And knowledge gained
Life is won
Like the mettle of sun

[Rookie Poems (1987-89) - Anup Mukherjee]
